Endole

Endole is run by Endole Ltd, a UK company incorporated in 2014. A single-user plan costs £39 a month, or £25 a month if you pay for a year, with no contract and a 7-day money-back guarantee. Multi-user plans are quoted on request.

The plan includes unlimited company and director profiles, credit reports with scores, credit limits and CCJ tracking, six years of CCJ, Gazette and charge history, 10-year financial trends, unlimited monitoring and KYB checks, and a contact database for prospecting. Exports are capped at 1,000 rows a month, or 15,000 a year, per user.

API access appears on the pricing page, but Endole's API documentation says calls are paid with credits bought separately, from 1p per credit, with a standard rate limit of 100 requests per 10 minutes. Budget for credits if you plan to integrate it.

Choose Endole if you check companies every week, want to pay annually, need the prospecting data or might add an API later.

Company Check

Company Check is run by Company Check Ltd, incorporated in 2003 and based in Cardiff. Companies House records show that it shares a person with significant control with Creditsafe companies, so it is closely linked to Creditsafe rather than fully independent.

Business Monthly is £35 a month. Its help centre lists the annual plan at £30 a month billed annually, while other pages state £350 a year, so check the price at checkout. The "One" option costs £20 for a single report, including five Companies House documents and five account table exports. Business plans include unlimited credit reports with current and historical scores, credit limits, payment history, CCJs, mortgages and charges, shareholder details and unlimited exports, plus email alerts and a monitoring dashboard.

We found no public API documentation. Its Trustpilot reviews are mixed: many of the one-star reviews complain about unexpected charges and refunds, so read the subscription terms before you sign up.

Choose Company Check if you only need a credit report now and then, or want unlimited exports at a fixed monthly price.

Which is cheaper?

It depends on how often you check companies. For one or two checks a year, Company Check's £20 single report is the cheapest paid option; Endole has no single report. For a monthly subscription the prices are close, £39 against £35. On an annual plan Endole is cheaper at £25 a month against Company Check's £30.

Before paying either, try the free routes. The Companies House service shows status, officers, owners, charges and every set of accounts for free, and our guide on how to credit check a UK company for free shows how far that gets you. What neither free route gives you is a credit score or limit.

What both have in common

Both build on the same public source, Companies House, and add credit scores, CCJ records and their own risk models. Neither shows a company's bank balance today: balance sheet figures are only as recent as the last accounts, and a private company has nine months after its year end to file. On 1 October 2026, 93,785 active companies were already past their accounts due date (overdue accounts statistics), so always check the filing dates behind a score. Our page on Companies House data vs credit reports explains what a score adds.
