Ordering and invoicing

1. The library or department raises a purchase order to Global Mindset Marketing Limited for the campus licence.
2. We issue an annual invoice against the PO number.
3. Invoiced licences do not go through our card payment provider (Stripe).
4. Access is switched on by IP address once you send your campus ranges and EZproxy address (access setup).

What the licence includes

• Company data: structured figures from 36.9 million Companies House iXBRL filings for about 7 million companies, accounting periods from 2010 to today, updated daily, plus register data for about 5.6 million live companies.
• Dataset builder and CSV export: up to 50,000 rows per query at /datasets, with filters for SIC code, town, postcode, size, incorporation year, period year and more.
• Full financial history per company: every period, ratios and CSV at /company/<number>/history, normally sold as a GBP 9 pack.
• Paper and scanned accounts on request: up to 200 company-years a year extracted and checked by hand.
• API keys for taught modules: on request of a module leader.
• Monthly institutional usage report: searches, company views, history views, dataset previews, exports, rows exported and API calls, as a web page and CSV behind a secret link. This is institutional usage reporting and is not COUNTER-certified.
• Access without accounts: by campus IP range and EZproxy, with an "Access provided by" banner.
• Optional MCP server for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. AI assistant licences are not included.

We do not hold ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials certification. Cyber Essentials is planned for 2027 Q1. We will complete your supplier security and accessibility questionnaires.

Data protection position

No student accounts are created and no student personal data is needed. We act as controller for our own request logs. A data processing agreement is normally not needed, but we will sign the university's DPA if its policy requires one. Hosting is with Hetzner Online in the EU. Service continuity

If the service ever closes, we give 90 days notice, a full export of the institution's saved datasets and a final data snapshot. The source data is under the Open Government Licence, so it can be re-used. Datasets downloaded during the licence stay with the institution after it ends.

FAQ

How much does the UK Company Data campus licence cost?

GBP 2,400 plus VAT per year for unlimited students and staff. The price is fixed for two years for the first partner institutions.

Can we pay by purchase order and invoice?

Yes. The licence is invoiced annually against your purchase order.
