DueDil alternatives: where to get UK company data now (2026)

Updated By
Short answerDueDil no longer exists as a self-serve research tool: it became FullCircl, which nCino bought in 2024 and now sells as nCino Identity Solutions to regulated firms. For private company research, Beauhurst and Moody's Fame are the closest replacements; for credit checks, Endole or Company Check; for UK accounts as data or in an AI assistant, UK Company Data.

What happened to DueDil?

DueDil merged with Artesian Solutions to form FullCircl, and nCino, the US banking software company, agreed to buy FullCircl in late 2024 for about $135 million. In October 2025 FullCircl was rebranded: its banking tools moved into the nCino platform and its compliance product became nCino Identity Solutions, which sells KYC, KYB, anti-money laundering and identity checks to fintechs, payment firms and other regulated businesses. Pricing is available only after a demo.

The old addresses no longer lead to a research product. As of October 2026, fullcircl.com redirects to an nCino domain and duedil.com redirects to an old login page. DueDil users who researched private companies or built sales lists need a different tool.

Beauhurst

Beauhurst is a private company database for the UK, Germany and Ireland, built around high-growth companies, fundraising, grants and deals, with CRM integrations. Prices are on request and there is no free trial. A public-sector listing on the G-Cloud 14 framework shows £24,500 a year for up to five users, which gives a sense of scale but is not a commercial list price.

Best for: investors, corporate finance teams and B2B sales teams who used DueDil to find growing private companies.

Moody's Fame

Fame, from Bureau van Dijk, now part of Moody's, is a database of UK and Irish companies with up to 20 years of detailed financials, ownership links, directors and credit scores, available through a web interface and an API. Moody's quotes prices after a demo; its public-sector G-Cloud listing shows £550 per user a year. Fame's global sibling, Orbis, covers companies worldwide.

Best for: analysts, accountants and corporate finance teams who need comparable financials across many years and companies.

Endole

Endole bundles company and director profiles, credit reports and limits, CCJ and charge history, 10-year financial trends and unlimited monitoring for £39 a month, or £25 a month billed annually, with a 7-day money-back guarantee. Exports are capped at 1,000 rows a month per user. API access is listed on the pricing page, but its API documentation says calls use credits bought separately.

Best for: small teams who want a DueDil-style web app with credit scores at a fixed monthly price.

Company Check

Company Check offers free basic company profiles and accounts, and paid plans with credit scores, credit limits, CCJs, charges, shareholder details and alerts. Business Monthly is £35 a month and a single report £20 plus VAT; the annual plan is listed at £350 a year in some places and £30 a month billed annually in others. We could not confirm a public API. Companies House records show that Company Check Ltd shares a person with significant control with Creditsafe companies, so it is not fully independent of Creditsafe.

Best for: occasional credit checks on customers and suppliers.

Creditsafe

Creditsafe is a credit reference agency with full financials, scores and limits, group structures, international reports and monitoring. It advertises a free trial but does not publish prices; its API is quoted separately. Our Creditsafe alternatives page compares it in detail.

Best for: credit control teams with steady volume and a budget for an annual contract.

Companies House

Companies House is the free source behind every product here. Its website shows officers, persons with significant control, charges and every filing, its "follow" feature emails you when a company files, and its free API and bulk downloads give the raw data. Accounts are documents, not figures you can compare across years.

Best for: checking one company, and developers who will process the data themselves. See how to check a UK company.

UK Company Data

UK Company Data, which we run, covers the full Companies House register of 5.7 million companies and balance sheet figures from about 37 million machine-readable accounts filed from 2008 to 2026. You can search free on the company search page, buy a one-off financial history pack for £9 (Excel or CSV within 24 hours), or use the REST API and MCP server: free for 50 requests a month, £39 a month for 5,000 requests and a 50-company watchlist.

Where it differs from DueDil: there are no credit scores, contacts, officers or group structures yet, and companies that file only PDF accounts, including many large groups, have no parsed figures. Where it is stronger: the figures are available as JSON or directly inside Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, and the watchlist alerts on status changes, overdue accounts, new charges and falling cash. On 1 October 2026, 93,785 active companies were past their accounts due date (overdue accounts statistics).

Best for: developers, data teams and anyone who wants multi-year accounts as data or through an AI assistant.
